Bio — matthew gonzalez

Hi,

As a Producer and Director, I have a heart for telling stories and helping others tell theirs.

I’ve worked in the film and television field for over 8 years with roles from various areas of production, from pre to post. As a Producer, I help my collaborators get our projects from concept to screens, both big and small. My produced projects have been viewed at Sundance, Tribeca, Netflix, Hulu, and theaters nationwide.

As a Director and Writer, I express my creative visions by playing with topics ranging from perspectives from unheard voices to tackling subjects that explore themes of humanity. In No Hablo, I explore the inner frustration of being a non-Spanish-speaking Latino and the feeling of failure that comes along with it.

On my off hours, I love to garden, play video games, walk my pup (Bella), spend time with my beautiful wife, and explore my hometown of New York City.
